A very personal struggle that can affect people chronically. I have two older brothers that have been sectioned under the mental health act. 'Healthline.com' highlights that black people in the UK are 20% more likely to suffer with mental heath problems than any other race. This song was written while visiting one of my brothers in their secured living hostel. In the song, I wanted to speak on PTSD from a number of perspectives including my brothers. Being a young father, I also wanted to share the maternal view point being that several studies suggest that 42,000 women in the UK face PTSD on a yearly basis, after giving birth.
