“Damn These Crickets” lives in that restless space where silence somehow gets louder the longer you wait. A porch light stays on, a phone stays quiet, and every cricket in the yard seems determined to fill in the blanks. Fast-moving and raw beneath the humor, it’s about holding out for something you know may not be coming, while telling yourself you’ll quit waiting… just not right now.
