A dark, cinematic folk-rock journey through the fractured memories of a man who cannot remember where he has been or what he has done. Somewhere between Texas and California, he finds himself wandering through a burning town, a river that keeps flowing, and a sheriff’s wall bearing his face. He remembers a horse tied to a post, a drink he desperately needs, and whispers that he shot his gun. His explanation? He was only shooting at the sun. Haunted, vulnerable, and increasingly desperate, he turns to the one person he trusts: his mother. As the mystery deepens, one plea remains—“Mama, hey mama, pray for me tonight.”
