Tomorrow Was Me is a sweeping, cinematic song about looking back at the future one once imagined and wondering whether lost possibilities can ever be reclaimed. Reflective opening lines give way to an urgent journey through reversed directions, alternate paths, and a mysterious treasure waiting beyond the reach of ordinary time. Soaring violins, thundering low strings, brass, and timpani build toward an overwhelming orchestral chorus as the narrator struggles to hold on to a future that keeps slipping away like sand. Poetic, surreal, and deeply evocative, the song explores time, regret, and the enduring desire to find another way forward.
