Around when the second season of “Arcane” was coming out I was really feeling the emotional dynamics between Jinx and Vi again. My past song “Cast a Villain” I actually thought fit a lot of Jinx’s experience and saw a unique opportunity to make an uplifting part 2 to the character in that darker song with inspiration from that dynamic. To do that I wrote the story as a duet and brought back some of my favorite vocalists. Quite different from a lot of what I’ve made but I love how it turned out and I hope you do too!
