Nir: “The Quiet Calculus” is the private mathematics of being human: what happens inside us while the world sees only the answer. Moving between English, Hebrew and French, it lives between fear and gratitude, survival and being alive. Chris gave those words music, finding beauty and peace in life's imperfect equations. Chris: This is the hardest piece I've ever performed. I've heard “Chris, it's cancer” five times. I keep fighting. Nir has family fighting too, so this became deeply personal. I speak English and French; Nir patiently guided me through the Hebrew. Please forgive any stumbles!
