After doing a songwriting camp with SONA and making my last single '7 Train,' I teamed up with 2 of the songwriters to make a joint about a confusing yet beautiful situationship that I was in. The heart of the song is really about being in something you know you shouldn't be in, but it's too intoxicating to give up. One of those relationships that's just so fun that even knowing how toxic it is isn't enough to keep you away from them forever. My friend Camille Hyde does background vocals throughout the single, and her voice is there one moment and gone the next, reflecting how fleeting the relationship was: she would show up, there would be passion and beauty, then she’d be gone.
