On “Tears Are Salty For A Reason”, Alpha Ojini draws from personal experience to curate an emotional journey with a central theme of male vulnerability. The project consists of songs that can also be seen as stages in said journey, from acceptance and vulnerability, through denial and taking a tough-guy stance, to unconsciously hurting others as a result of one’s own hurt, and eventual healing, regaining the needed self-confidence to find love in its best form.
