The movement of goods and people in the CEMAC region could be sometimes tricky. With the emergence of Equatorial Guinea as an oil rich country, a lot of foreigners from Cameroon and elsewhere have been attracted to work there. But immigrant life for them has not always been easy. Frictions sometimes caused tension between the migrants and their hosts. But diplomatically, both Cameroon and Equatorial Guinea manage to mend their ties, always. A couple of years back, the tension between the migrants and their hosts was so high that I went to Ebebiyín, a town in Kié-Ntem Province of Equatorial Guinea, as a Cameroon Radio Television Reporter, to find out what the issues really were.
