"Ape Me" was written during lunch break in College. Initially, the entire song is based on the idea of playing with the word tango, tapping into the different meanings it carries: The term tango originates from Latin and is translated "I touch", on the other hand tango is a well known fizzy beverage in the UK, therefore the reference "juice" is used as an innuendo in the song.
