Slaves is a song we wrote about feeling trapped in a bad situation and trying to find an escape. It can be interpreted as trying to find a way out of a bad relationship, toxic family ordeal, or a business deal. Many people feel like they are slaves to their jobs, and mental illness as well. All we know is if there’s an escape, we want to find it and quick before the situation it destroys us.
