CyHi The Prynce promised to change hip-hop forever with this Kanye West assisted single, “Dat Side.” Coming up from Georgia, he first caught our ears as a feature on My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, and followed up with a slick XXL Freestyle in 2011. Finally back in the lab with Kanye, “Dat Side” is testament to the artist’s chemistry.

On “Dat Side” CyHi is parsing out the real from the fake, lining up the snakes firing squad style. Over looming skeleton keys, spits a chopped and head-bopping flow, slipping into double-time for the fun of it. Yeezy adds a slurred and punchy verse to the track, letting the bars roll off his tongue with an attractive air of confidence.
