Akkie, aka Amanda Kohlström, was brought up in Gröndal in Stockholm, Sweden. She's a producer, songwriter and multi-creative artist who's in love with making stuff. With tragicomic lyrics and playfulness in performance she makes songs totally disregarding genres (although they often fall under some type of dance music). Coming from the DIY culture and having had part in Femtastic, BO$$$A gang, and other separatistic groups for female musicians and entrepreneurs, Amanda has always had female role models around inspiring her to push her own limits. She started producing music in 2017 while living in London where she was truly inspired by the UK music scene.
