Wendy Kemunto, popularly known by her stage name Wendy Kay, is an Afro-Urban driven recording and performing artist from Nairobi, Kenya. She rose to acclaim through a stripped-down music cover version of Yemi Alade's ''Africa'' which went viral. She is a relative newcomer and is best known for her charting songs ''Maybe'' and ''Huru''. She has been featured on two seasons of Coke Studio Africa as a background singer at the same time pursuing her own career. Her single ''Maybe'' was featured on the highly acclaimed international independent music platform ''COLORS''. In 2019 she was given a bigger spotlight on Coke Studio Africa and made her debut performance as an artist. In 2020 she is set to release her debut EP project ''My Way''.
