Inspired by the pain of young lovers separated by distance, the original Ikoko track was written about feelings of heartbreak following separation. Now, this powerful, international remix is joined by Soft and Phanda Boyy, with two passionate verses, which reflect on the hardships of finding love when working in the public eye. It is released with an accompanying music video, by renowned film director Mex Films, which draws on the themes of separation and coming back together not only in his depiction of our artists crossing borders to Nigeria, but also in its celebration of lovers seen reunited.
