2019 has been an eventful year for Tonero, with three released singles, Thunder (feat. Trill Xoe), Believer (With Marvin), Energy, and Do Better. His newest release is a single featuring Aylø titled ‘Screaming’. The song is a fast-paced hip-hop rendition of a belligerent young man having to impose a critical self-examination and accepting the outcome with flamboyance. In a statement, Tonero says “It started out as a cry for help in the middle of the night, but it’s much more than that now.” He adds, “I found inspiration in the co-existing dread and admiration of the things in life that are way bigger than me.” ‘Screaming’ features an experimental verse from Aylø that sees the soul singer merge with the hip-hop tone while maintaining his cool as a nod to his versatility.
