In fact, its title is Latin for "new danger", "new concern". However, it does not tell the tale of a man with digital suffering. It carries a general emotion. In the end, it's merely about having issues, and feeling emotionally distressed, endangered, even distorted; sometimes, it's the hope of resolution, and sometimes, it's the nostalgia of a peaceful, pristine past. With a grand total of 18 tracks ­— 57 minutes of techno, metal, and oftentimes orchestral music — generally instrumental soundtrack music —, Periculus Novus is a soundtrack with a general purpose.
