Smoke and Mirrors is basically a journey through different versions of me. The album talks about love, heartbreak, confusion, toxic situations, self-discovery, confidence and finally stepping into my own power.The title Smoke and Mirrors represents the things we see that aren't always what they seem the illusions we create, the people we trust, and sometimes even the version of ourselves we show to the world.The first half of the album is more vulnerable and emotional. You hear me questioning things, wanting to be heard, running from certain feelings and searching for answers. But as the album progresses, I start finding myself again. By the end, I’m no longer searching for validation I know who I am, what I deserve, and what I bring to the table.So for me, Smoke and Mirrors is really about seeing through the lies, surviving the things that tried to break you, and coming out knowing your power.
