"WurlD Honors His Egba Heritage on New Single 'Da Da,' Out October 9" WurlD pays tribute to his origin and ethnic background — the Egba people, a prominent group living in western Nigeria, centered around Abeokuta — in his new Afro-fusion swing record, "Da Da." WurlD shows his mastery in the way he effortlessly blends different genres into a cohesive sound that feels like it was all meant to be. "I want people to have an idea of the depths of where I'm from, and I hope it inspires them to dig deep into their own origins as well," WurlD says. "Da Da" is set for release on October 9, 2026.
