Virginia based producer Tehron Porter has released his instrumental album "PHNX:RISING". Unique yet nostalgic, this 18-track project includes not only soulful sampling hip hop, but live instrumentation all produced under Porter's collective, SUPR. Reminiscent of J. Dilla & MF DOOM, this project was inspired by the birth of his son, Phenix Kai Porter (who is also credited as a co-writer, as the majority of the project was created while Tehron was taking care of his newborn son).
