‘After losing someone special to me, I turned to social vices to ease my pain and feel good. Clubbing and driving fast cars on the streets of Lagos was my routine. The rush felt good but it was temporary, I felt worse after the rush. ‘FREEZE’ is a song about me realising that the wildlife would consume me, so I had to slow down for me to heal and find true happiness.’
