I think we all have something that stayed with us longer than we expected. A person. A memory. A version of ourselves. Something we thought we had moved on from, only to realize it left pieces behind. That’s what RESIDUE is about. These songs came from thinking about what love leaves in us not only when it ends, but even when it changes us for the better. The things we learn too late. The questions we never got answered. The parts of ourselves we had to find again. I didn't make this album to tell you what love is supposed to feel like. I made it for those quiet moments when you're trying to understand what yours did to you. So if you hear a little of your own story somewhere in these songs, then maybe this album found exactly who it was meant to find.
