The talented bounce-riddled production style of Harlem native producer Austin Millz and New Orleans’ skilled rap artist Pell connect on their brand new collaborative release, “On Read.” Centered around the tumultuous feelings that can ensue after being ghosted, the new release from Millz and Pell exemplifies the emotional distance and thoughts of utter regret felt after an incredibly messy break-up. Contrasted by the song’s upbeat and groove-centric production, that is sure to get you out of your seat, Millz’ sonic backdrop creates a palpable landscape for Pell’s soulful delivery that toes the line between crooning and rapping.
