Isha (@isha.drammeh_) is a black queer spoken word artist who uses poetry as a way to process her lived experiences and embrace vulnerability. Her work explores themes of identity, politics, and generational trauma. For Isha, poetry is both a creative outlet and a coping mechanism—a way to navigate a world that often tries to silence voices like hers. She believes poetry doesn’t have to be polished or posh to be powerful, and hopes her work inspires others from marginalised backgrounds to speak up, write out, and heal loud.
