Soturi Music

Shaneeka “Soturi” Levy has been dubbed the Houston bad fatty by those familiar with her work in dancehall spaces. Soturi’s musical journey began as far back as her teen years attending St.Andrew Technical high in Kingston,Jamaica where she remained apart of the schools choir and dance team participating in national events such J.C.D.C and “All together sing.”After migrating to the United States professional records first took place at Circle music group with producer Shawn Michaels who has worked with the likes of Kim Burrell and August Alsina.The year 2021 has proven to be a very successful one as Soturi has opened shows for major female dancehall acts such as : Spice,Jada kingdom,and Shaneil Muir.After hearing a well know song “Dem gyal yah wicked” by Nvasion Soturi has sought to give the female’s perspective with her song “Dem man yah wicked.”
