The song is dedicated to every gifted artist putting in the work day in day out but still don't get the recognition they deserve; hence why the song is titled "ZOMBIE" which indirectly refers to how dead certain artists are in the business and how comfortble they become once established. ZOMBIE also initiates how we won't rest until we get what's ours in this industry. The lyrics are very metaphorical on the chorus as elaborated above. The line "i know that sleeping ain't for demons, so why the f* am i awake?" is to obscurely put emphasis on how many sleepless nights take place when trying to enhance yourself to be the greatest in your craft, no matter what field it may be. once again: "listen to the words, don't get lost in the melodies." enjoy & keep on going on, SOON. 👥
