This song is about addiction and relapse and the hope we have in Jesus to continually accept us despite our weaknesses. Frank Austin wrote the first version while we were serving at Victory Outreach in Portland. VO is a great church specializing in recovery and they're a great group of grateful worshipers. This is the 2nd version. I rewrote the melody, chords and came up with a new arrangement a couple of years later. It's been submitted to the American Songwriters contest in 2023. Outcome to be decided in March of 2024.
