The creative process can best be described as “a glitch in the matrix”— it felt as though everything written fell seamlessly into place. Being in 2 different continents while working on “Lost In A Field” made the experience even more unique. Communicating solely through sound; tapping into the same musical frequency; a powerful and unexpected connection was formed. DJ Optimus tells his story through a rich blend of samples & live instrumentation, while SIN conveys evocative lyrics telling his story. Minimal explanation was needed between them. Lost In A Field is further elevated by contributions from talented collaborators such as Jermaine Holmes, Ahrel Lumzy, Yannick Hiwat, and Marcus Machado. Mastering was handled by Ivo Statinski, & the artwork was beautifully crafted by Sandim Mendes.
