After releasing Clayco to the world a couple of weeks ago, as well as being featured in XXL Magazine's "The Break" shortly after; the track 'LXVE' is Derek Wise's second release from his highly anticipated project "Mom's Basement". "LxVE" is produced by frequent collaborator Cristo Meth. Despite being only 20 years old, Derek paints a jazzy yet dark after-hours scene through his grizzled, raspy voice. Sampling fellow hometown artist The Weeknd, Derek's delivery is perfectly suited for this smokey track which gives us a deeper look into the artist's relationship with women and money. Derek Wise's new free album, Mom's Basement is set to drop late summer 2013.
