This song was inspired by a recent trip to visit my family in the Ivory Coast. I wanted to reach into my roots more and decided to buy various percussion instruments - including a djimbe, cowbell, and shakers that were all used in this record. The lyrics came from some conversations I’ve been having with friends. We’re all trying to figure out our path, but at the end of the day, the best we can do is walk with faith in a higher power.
