Deep Cuts is a spontaneous EP that was written and recorded days after finishing Soul Set II. Gritty, concise, unhinged and unapologetic. Shaya chooses only smooth/soulful yet abstract/grungy loops to rap over from intro to outro. Each track feels more like spoken word poetry than "songs". Get lost on the dark side of Shaya Rhymes mind as he tackles mental health, addiction, romance, family and many other personal topics throughout this project.
