DESERVE is a song I wrote after hearing a quote from goldroseaburo. “Success only comes before work in the dictionary”. At the time I was in a grey area mentally - depressed - so much so that when merlakura produced this beat right in front of me - I knew I didn’t have the clarity needed to pack a punch and left without recording. I couldn’t even tell you what it was - some days I feel like I got it ALL together - “HIM” - other days I feel like I merely exist or that I’m severely letting my self-expectations down. I needed something to get me back in my bag. That quote and preluding conversation woke me up - and upon play I pray it does the same for you!
