I urge all citizens, youth organizations, women's organizations, community leaders, and concerned locals to stand up and support the fight against sexual violence and rape in my capacity as a human rights defender from Nimba County. The recent reports of rape cases in Nimba and other parts of Liberia serve as a sobering reminder that until we take collective action, our communities will not be safe. Perpetrators are shielded by silence, but our children, women, and future generations are shielded by unity. This campaign is a nonviolent effort to protect survivors, demand justice, and increase awareness. Everyone is encouraged by the Nimba County chapter to show solidarity and contribute to the urgently needed change in our society. Together, let's say that violence has no place in our communities.
