The lyrics “I just want to glow for you” represent Sainvil's only reason to chase success. This progression of contradicting lyrics is meant to show his humanity and determination to “glow,” even if he hurts himself in the process. Throughout the ‘Girl Crazy’ era, you will see a man pursuing his love interest but believing he doesn’t have a chance because of his own insecurities, an experience most of us can relate to.
