Que Díos Te Bendiga (May God Bless You) is a Latin-influenced vibe, on a soundtrack filled with the fun and jubilation of today's modern rap music. However, the clever, high-energy wordplay points to what gives us joy: the love of the Most High God, Himself. The song calls out those blessings, to bless the listener right back! Most intriguing is that the chorus is spit; half in Spanish and half English. I enjoyed pushing my limited Spanish vocabulary that I recall from high school to reach out to another demographic. It was a struggle getting my thoughts translated, then to make dope rhymes out of them; but a fun challenge nonetheless. All my Spanish-speakers can tell me how I did!
