“Night Light” is a Spoken Word Poem expressing emotions that often accompany gloomy times. Are there big shoes to fill and nowhere to turn to? How do you feel when it seems there is nowhere to run to? “Night Light” gives words to those feelings that may seem difficult to express but most importantly, the piece reminds us that when darkness strikes, we are LIGHT! In all this, it is important that we make a choice to hold on to our identity. Night Light simply tells us that when we feel like our entire environment is dark, let us all see reason to beam.
