A fusion of hip-hop, trap music and poetry. Like Lil Wayne's 'Dear Anne' and Eminem's 'Dear Stan', Dear Ashley is a letter piece although not necessarily to a fan. It seeks to sympathize with the addressee and let her know that she might not be alone in what she's going through or what she has gone through.
