SLaM is a collection of songs with a similar theme: "Love’s a drug, don’t get hooked". Except, it's easier said than done, and now, the protagonist (a self-proclaimed pharmacist) finds himself battling a dependence on his meds to numb the pain of losing the love of his life by his own egoistic tendencies. It is amidst the chaos that it becomes clear that he, in fact, abuses the feeling of love for its euphoric effect or... “high”… and so did she. Damn, love is a drug as well and it costs no money; just your entire self.
