Literally, fefenefe means beauty is beautiful. The phrase is coined from an akan(a tribe in Ghana) proverb that says “fefe ne fe, se obaa tu amirika ne oso ni nufumua, eye fe, enye se ebe ti ato ntia” which means that when a woman is running, she holds her breasts not because it would fall but because she’s a woman-thats what makes her beautiful. The woman was formed by God in a way that can only be described as beautiful. To fulfil purpose as a woman you need to be beautiful especially on the inside.
