i wrote temporary in 2018 right after a deployment while i was on leave for christmas. my parents had just gotten a divorce and i was on the receiving end of both sides. about half way through leave i couldn’t take it anymore and told everybody stop including me. as a result... i was kicked out the house, and ended spending the rest of christmas with my friend davis. i wrote, “temporary,” in about 30 minutes that night. this is the song that convinced me to create, “tylerhateslife.” it was authentic. it is a cry out to God begging him to take me from this planet because i just want to be with Jesus. i’ve grown a lot since then, and the idea of, “tylerhateslife,” is continuously evolving, but this event was one of the key factors in creating the platform i now have and will continue to grow
