NYMROD - a mighty one on earth, a mighty hunter before the Lord NYMROD, born Corry Stokes, is a rapper out of Brooklyn, NY. During incarceration, NYMROD met fellow rapper Max B. who taught him the art of writing music. He joined forces with Max B. and fellow rappers Jim Jones and Camron. ROD was featured in Jim Jones' video “Ballin”. After studying various aspects of the music industry, NYMROD decided to take his artistry to the next level. In 2010, he was featured on the Unsigned Artist Explosion Tour and rocked venues nationwide. Taking his bars far beyond the average rapper, ROD dropped his debut Album “I Am”, independently in September 2012. Since the release of his debut album, it has received nearly 1,000 downloads and close to 5,000 views. He also dropped a mixtape “My Town"
