Moongazing was Jxmes Morningstxr’s debut mixtape, now fully revamped with clearer vocals and a blend of trap, boom bap, and vintage old-school textures. It fixes the quality issues that affected the original while keeping its raw energy. Still executive produced, mixed, and mastered by DJ Balor, who made every beat except “From Slaves to Kings” (Rapso) and “Neverland” & “Crisp” (co-produced with Boy Casa and TB). Most remixes were removed except “We Go Up,” now called “BALORBARBS.” Designed to feel like a DatPiff-era tape, complete with DJ drops, a hosted version by DJ Balor will drop for its 5-year anniversary.
