‘Mr. M.I.A.’ was created to be CD’s own version of one of her favourite Erykah Badu tunes ‘Tyrone’. In a smooth, yet sassy tone, it tells the story of a woman who is fed up with a man who lacks communication and effort in a relationship. Through the recording of live drums, piano, flute, electric guitar, bass guitar and synthesizers, ‘Mr. M.I.A.’ gives a sensual, old school vibe, similar to the sounds of Sade. The track was produced by local Melbourne talent Michael Cooper, and features drums by Joshua Albert and flute by Harry Cooper.
