‘Arlecchino,’ name of a little clown in the Commedia dell’Arte of Italy, was my second recording after ‘Planets’ when I first started out to record my musical inspirations, back in 1994 in Rotterdam, Holland. The music is inspired, childish and innocent, and the tone is that of an EMU MIDI interface that was very popular at the time as it produced a pure sound emulating the Steinway D Concert Grand.
