Home is where the journey begins. Home is a a prayer - that of a young girl who sets out on a journey to understand and embrace purpose, it speaks of drawing and regaining strength ahead of a life adventure. I wanted to write something that my mother could relate to and appreciate, that quest for simplicity and for incorporating more of my mother tongue 'Igbo' was what birth this afro-folk composition.
