The Bruine EP project originated when Reason Studios asked Osmojam to try and test their new synthetiser "Objekt". It prompted her to experiment house music, and to try out her personal blend of caribbean and hip hop soul vibes on 4 instrumental only tracks. "Tantale" is a soft and groovy tune built on a "mendé" rhythm sample from Guadeloupe island. "Trini", is a joyous tribute to soca music from Trinidad & Tobago. "Bruine" is a somewhat melancholic meditation, the instrumental mimicking the rain. Finally, "Débrayage" is primarily about having fun with soulful keyboard and funky leads.
