"Mekowuyere," a powerful gospel song, was born out of pain and gratitude. During a challenging time, I was undergoing chemotherapy for breast cancer. Despite the physical and emotional toll, I felt compelled to express my gratitude to God. My wife, understandably, was concerned about me going to the studio while I was still in treatment, but I knew I had to create. The title "Mekowuyere" translates to "I Give You Praise" in my native Isoko language. It's a declaration of worship, reflecting my desire to honor God amidst adversity. Through "Mekowuyere," I share my testimony of faith, hope, and perseverance, inspiring others to find strength in their own struggles. This song is a personal reflection of my journey, and I'm humbled to share it with others.
