Inspired by Jacob's sojourn. Jacob hustled through life, wrestling for what he thought would give meaning. Even with possessions, his soul found no rest-until he wrestled an angel and asked only to be blessed. If a man with so much still seeks blessing, the blessing he seeks is not physical, but eternal. We live the same struggle-hustling, warring with anger, envy and strife to stay afloat, yet our souls remain unsatisfied. God is the blessing we truly seek; the bread that satisfies, the peace that surpasses understanding, the rest our souls crave- made available in Jesus: "Come to me, all who labor... and I will give you rest." Our doubt is what we must wrestle to Overcome.
