Last spring, a free project entitled Memories Speak, hit the internet, and was a surprise hit. Nylo garnered comparisons to Aaliyah and The Weeknd, and was called music’s best-kept secret. Over the course of the past year, Nylo has been holed up in the studio crafting two new EPs, to pick up where Memories Speak left off: Indigo Summer and Indigo Rose. The Indigo Summer project, Nylo describes as “the re-introduction of color" into her life. You can expect the same delicate and soaring vocals, the same lyrical honesty, the same hybrid twist on R&B production, but this time maybe a little more color.
