"Pepper Soup" is an Afrobeats/Amapiano record that turns a beloved West African dish into a cheeky metaphor for attraction and chemistry. Jay Laa, known as the "Norty Boi," recruits fellow Liberian artist Davy C for a playful back-and-forth built around clever double entendres, infectious melodies, and late-night energy. The record blends contemporary Afrobeats and Amapiano with a distinctly West African cultural reference, while both artists embrace their mischievous "naughty boy" personas, creating a fun, memorable, and highly relatable record.
